WHY should you GEAUX WITH US?

At First Zachary, two Core Values are Missional Living and Sacrificial Generosity.

That means we value sending out our members into the world to live out the gospel with all that we have. FBCZ  has sought out these community service projects and mission trip opportunities with the hopes that gospel conversations will result, or at the very least, through these projects and trips, we provide an opportunity for our members to show others that we genuinely love them. And ultimately, we pray that love will stir up people's curiosity enough so that they seek to know why and soon find the gospel. After all, it is God’s kindness that leads us all to repentance.

MISSIONAL LIVING

At FBCZ, we value sending out all our members to live among non-believers in our city, our nation, and our world so they may see and hear the gospel.

Colvin Mission Fund

The Colvin Mission Fund was developed in honor of Dr. Les Colvin’s years of service at FBCZ. Inspired by his example and an irrepressible desire to enable more church members to GEAUX WITH US, this fund lessens financial barriers to serving in FBCZ’s mission trips by providing up to half the cost of a trip for members who use it.
