The Upward Sports season typically begins each winter with Basketball and Cheerleading registration beginning in early October and evaluations in early November. Children in K5 through 6th Grade are eligible to participate. Practices are typically scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the Family Life Center.  Games are also in the Family Life Center and are typically held on Saturdays beginning in January.

Late registration must be done in person at the church office. Late registration fee is $-

Practices begin week of November 30, 2026.

Practices occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Each team practices 1 night per week.

Games begin Jan -, 2027 and occur each Saturday until the season ends on Feb -, 2027.

Closing ceremony will be at 5pm, Sunday, February - in the Worship Center.
Additional details about times and dates will be provided by each team's coach.

Each child who would like to play basketball must attend an Evaluation & Orientation that we'll hold in the Family Life Center [gym area]:

Boys and Girls grade K through 2nd - Mon, Nov 2, between 6-7:30pm

Boys and Girls in 3rd and 4th grades - Tue, Nov 3, between 6-7:30pm

Boys and Girls in 5th and 6th grade - Thu, Nov 5, between 6-7:30pm

Makeup Evaluations - Fri, Nov 6, between 6-7:30pm

Closing Ceremony is Sun, Feb -, 5pm.
